teaching
I facilitate workshops, classes and projects in a wide range of community contexts. I love connecting with people and building community through creative movement. I am a lead dance artist for The Place, Sadler’s Wells, The Natasha’s Project (for survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery) and Magpie Dance for people with learning disabilities.
I also consulted on Parable Dance’s film ‘Inclusive practice is good practice’, which brought together 42 of the UK’s leading inclusive dance practitioners.
I work across lots of different contexts, which include:
Primary Schools. Exploring cross-curricular topics through creative dance.
Early Years. Child led, sensory and lots of fun. Designed to get little and big people moving together.
Community and care settings. Person centred practice based on connection and joy.
If you’d like to discuss a potential project or workshop please get in touch to discuss further.
