LRMN collaboration
A community project in partnership with Women Together in South East London (2019). Ella led a series of creative dance workshops for women and children who are victims of gender based violence and who are also refugees, migrants or asylum seekers. Following the workshops, a final piece was devised which the group performed at Nunhead Art Trail 2019.
The work explored community, visibility and joy. The women’s groove filled the space and was a celebration of their sisterhood.
